Operational Trainer Professional, East Kilbride
What you become a part of
Based at our East Kilbride site, this position will be both challenging and highly developmental, affording the successful candidate the opportunity to work across different CCE sites, whilst developing an expertise in Technical training. Frequent travel between East Kilbride and Morpeth is to be expected.
The role will report into the Snr Manager, Manufacturing Operations Manager, East Kilbride and will require collaboration with L&D professional, site management team and HRBP in order to schedule the training plan.
What to expect
Manage learning solutions:
Builds site technical training plan in conjunction with department managers and L&D.
Delivery of technical training prioritised by site training plans to ensure consistent standard of learning
Develop, Review and update technical training materials
Develop and Review learning to ensure it is transferred into everyday working methods to accelerate the learning curve and optimise performance
Support the Team Leader to ensure on the job training is delivered
Site Health and Safety
Follow Site Safety best practices to ensure safe-working for self and to protect the safety of colleagues to demonstrate zero accident behaviour
Conduct basic LMS administration updating training records
Share and replicate best practice with employees to improve the quality and implementation of training to deliver added value (ROI)
Active involvement in Operational Excellence programmes aligned to Technical training agenda
Perform other tasks as required by the department to ensure team performance and manufacturing output are achieved
What we expect of you
Passionate in the field of learning and development with indepth experience of technical training
Excellent written and verbal communication ability
Self-motivated & the drive to influence others in order to execute plans / activities
Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Experience in the FMCG/Supply Chain sector and in a manufacturing environment – experience within the following environments considered a plus; mechanical, electrical, production.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with multiple activities
Ability to manage self and work on own initiative
