Job Description

Sitting within the Retail business this role supports the Retention & Inlife team by reporting and analysing commercial trading performance; spotting risks and opportunities to help us to achieve our ambitious 3 year plan targets. 

The role holder will design the next stage of commercial MI reporting, spot opportunities to improve performance, and support the broader team to deliver key projects and initiatives

Accountabilities

* Develop the next phase of Retention & Inlife MI and reporting, in conjunction with the BI team
* Collate trading updates to explain MTA, Cancellation and Retention performance
* Own the 3 year planning and reforecasting process for the team - working with the broader business to agree targets (including Operations, Marketing and Underwriting)
* Conduct trend analysis and interpret trading performance to spot risks and opportunities
* Make recommendations for change to improve business performance
* Support commercial executives and managers to deliver key projects and initiatives, including business case creation and benefit tracking
* Highly numerate and analytical
* Able to analyse a range of complex data and cut through the detail to draw out key insight and conclusions
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to operate effectively in a team environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Sound commercial acumen
* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
* Good relationship management skills
* Determination and drive to make a difference
